Here you
will find some copies of our policies and a questionnaire to e-mail to me if you
think you would be interested in our group. Please understand we take our group
very seriously and we insist on excellent obedience and control. Casual is not
good enough for " Fleets Therapy Dogs" . Please come and be part of a wonderful
group and have a great time doing it.
We do all of our training with my training academy . We start with private lessons then work into group when you and your dog is ready. We take our time so when we are done your dog is focused on you and what your asking of him or her. We also ask that after you are in the group you attend at least one group lesson per month it is good socializing and it allows me to see that you still have good control.
All therapy dogs have to be obedient and well focused on there task at hand. We also ask that everyone be respectful of each others space for both you and your dogs safety. I think that everyone would agree that NO one likes to be pinned in a corner that includes your dogs. So remember if you fell uncomfortable so problem does your dog. Be fair and your dog will always be fair to you.
Remembered just because you have a therapy dog doesn't mean given the right set of circumstances he will defend him self if he feels threatened and yes that sometimes mean YOUR DOG WILL BITE!!!
So lets all be considerate and we can all have a lot of fun and do some great things with our dogs while we do it.

Don't forget Easter is coming. Isn't there some place you would love to take your Therapy Dog??
